Rover Alcisa Property Developer has finished the burial of line 1 of the Valencia Underground in Benimamet. This work means the execution of gradient modification and burial of line 1 of the underground. The execution of such infrastructure, counts with a budget of 29,3 millions of Euros. The aim of this action is the integration of line 1 of the Underground in the urban nucleus of Benimamet through a double way tunnel with under ground stations to maintain the maximum accessibility and proximity.

The infrastructure realization of the work is projected by means of a system "Cut & Cover' which makes the tunnel execution helped by wall-front piles that are used to support the land. Over this wall piles and before the excavation of the tunnel, the front flagstone is executed, what allows a quick replacement of the affected traffic.

The aim is to bury this stretch to solve the urban problems and the environmental impact in the area of Benimamet.

The total length of the stretch in which we work is of 1.532,86 metres, 1.138,34 metres in tunnel, 270,04 in ramps and 113,48 metres in surface. The initial and final PK of the action are 21+728.14 y 23+261.12 of the right general way.

It is set out a combined route with the following typologies:

• In surface between PK 21+728.14 – 21+788 y los PK 23+199 – 23+261.
• In trench, from the start of the ramps in "U" to the beginning of the tunnel: PK 21+788-21+921 y PK 23+061-23+199.
• From PK 21+921 where the development of the trench ends is where the stretch of tunnel begins, which's development expands to the PK 23+061.12, starts.

For the area of the Benimamet and Les Carolines stations it is suggested a reorganization of the urbanization of the area including de location of the accesses to the buried stations and the future integration in the longitudinal boulevard.
