Rover Alcisa finishes the building of the Auditorium of Burjassot

The building of the acoustic shell of the municipal auditorium of Burjassot is already a reality. Rover Alcisa has finished its building, this work is contemplated in the set of investments of de Plan E, and constitutes of a singular work for the Valencian municipality. The work contemplates a total of 2.900 metres squared and incorporates a set of public rest rooms, the building of the acoustic shell, as the building of the areas destined to warehouse and snack bar, café.

The most signifying element of the work is the construction of the acoustic shell that is all formed by reinforced concrete walls painted in white in which two areas are differentiated: the area of rehearsals and the scenery.

Such scenery has a surface of 230 m2 forming a bivalva with the lateral walls, in V-formation appearing a tympanum of 3 metres big each one and putting the back wall in front which does the function of screen, all this is covered with the most signifying element of this project that is the curve slab of 20cm of thickness with a surface of 260m2 and in real magnitude of 360m2, which starts at 6 m reaching the 13 metres high.

Another element of great importance is the stands, that is covered with a special structure painted in white of almost 1000 m2 of surface, and where a canvas is placed in the inferior part to cover the totality of it. There is another area, the area of the snack bar or café where 43 columns are lodged that resemble the 43 silos of Burjassot, sucha columns are covered with 4 canvas with the colours of the logotype of the Cultural Centre.
