Rover Alcisa builds a modal interchange station at San Isidro

This project, promoted by ADIF, facilitates the integration of rail and underground. The works of expansion and improvement of the modal interchanger in San Isidro station in Valencia will be carried out by Rover Alcisa Construction, a company of the Rover Alcisa Group. These works complement action already undertaken in the Station of Vara de Quart, replacing the current temporary stop trains for a final building will improve communication between the railway and subway, making a comprehensive performance in both stations. It is a work of a specific technical relevance. On the one hand, it constitutes an act of rail civil engineering, but it is also a building integrated action between the existing traces of Iberian gauge railroad and subway tracks.

Communication with the town of Valencia 

 

The building, from the current level of Gremis Street, allows access along with elevators or stairs to the intermediate level of lobby for access to railway platforms. In addition, another feature of it is that, once built, will communicate through a broker, with the platforms of Metro Valencia, in lines 1 and 5, allowing the transit of passengers from rail lines to lines of Metro Valencia, facilitating, the access to the town of Valencia.

Performances in the construction of the new exchanger of Vara de Quart

- Construction of a metal bridge for crossing the paths of Metro Valencia and enable change track without having to go to the crossing under roads in the metro station of San Isidro.
