The Councillor for Infrastructure, Transport and Environment of the Generalitat Valenciana, Isabel Bonig, inaugurated the development works of the Cami de La Marcelina in Benifaió made by Rover Alcisa Constructions. At the event, along with the Councillor it also attended the act the mayor of the town, Amparo Arcis, and representatives of the Department and City Hall. During the ceremony, the Councillor Isabel Bonig exchanged ideas with the Rover Alcisa Group President, Alfredo Rodriguez, who was accompanied by Javier Mudarra, Director of the Levante Area and Luis Gimeno, head of department.
The urbanization of the Cami de La Marcelina in Benifaió includes a series of actions to provide adequate infrastructure to one of the three main entrances to Benifaió, in this case, as it is the connection with the CV-42 to the roundabout to Almussafes crossing with the Avenue of Europe, an area that is urbanizing and in which is included part of the Cami de La Marcelina.
This road, besides being one of the main routes into the city, coincides with the implementation of the sports centre on the left side of the road, and whose main function is to equip people with an entry like "walk", allowing connection of that road with the centre of town in a comfortable and safe way.
The works are divided into three different areas. In the first section, from Benifaió to the roundabout CV-42, the avenue runs alongside with a residential community.
On the right, bordering the industrial premises of the Cooperative Cohoca and industrial area, where there have been carried out all urban sanitation services and potable water.
The second section includes the main and secondary road on the right side, creating an unpaved road for access to existing fields in the area. In the last section, the road borders with an agricultural and industrial area ensuring access to the same.
